We did it! This is possibly our biggest achievement, I'm so happy! On Sunday we entered our first retrieving competition (apporteer in Dutch, by the FHN), where we got the A Diploma and came third in our category: 16 dogs in total of which 12 were retrievers. In fact, while Indi always gets some attention because of his color and size (and attitude, which aren't that common in poodles), this time he was standing out even more than usual.
The exercises included:
- Heeling with and without leash 10/10
- Recall with distractions 10/10
- Down and stay out of sight for 2 minutes 10/10
- Retrieving over the jump 10/10
- Marking retrieving (with shooting) 7/10
And the prize is so cool! :) Well done Indi!
